The cuisine in Iceland is typically focused around meats, fish, and dairy, while fruits and veggies are less traditional due to the local climate and location in relevance to the sea. (However, the modern use of greenhouses has helped to make them more common.)
In the mornings, breakfast isn't particularly lavish but is made to be something that is warm and easy to eat. Lunch usually consists of something known as a smorgasbord which is a meal where many different types of food are made and placed on a large table; this is the largest meal of the day.

Religion
The religion in Iceland is mostly made up of different branches of Christianity. The majority being Lutheran, and the other being other branches like Roman Catholic, and the Free Church of Iceland.
Language
The official language of Iceland is Icelandic, a North Germanic language derived from Old Norse and has changed relatively little throughout the centuries. However, English is widely spoken and understood.
